My comment to the NYTimes article about cell & land line survey of ADHD “over diagnosis”

Cell phone & land line surveys certainly can’t offer convincing support to any scientific hypothesis. We need hard data, tho as Dan Ariely says, if we have data, let’s go with the data; if we don’t have data, let’s go with my view.  My view is we have no valid & reliable data, so Chicken Little responses about over-diagnosis are totally unfounded and likely just knee jerk political noise.
