Unlearning Something Much Repeated Is …

mighty hard! The video is interesting and instructive about how Very committed people have to be, and how long and hard people often have to practice a behavior that’s very different, in this case opposite, from a much repeated habit.

Like using other words instead of “I:  ‘ll try/tried/am trying/will try.” Or feeling and behaving as if I: ” ‘m good/likeable/lovable/ smart/competent, etc.  Or other important  changes in therapy, like unlearning scare, putting feelings into words, or  …

Conscious knowledge really is quite different from understanding, or doing.
